Is It Wrong to Chase Your Dreams?

If you’ve ever seen the movie Tangled, you can probably recall the amusing song “I’ve Got a Dream” that Rapunzel and several other characters sing about their personal aspirations. The song’s message is simple: Everyone has a dream, and every dream is special no matter how unconventional or unrealistic it is. It’s not unusual to hear or read similar messages from Christians. When I was offered the position at the nonprofit, I knew it was an answer to prayer. However, I don't think my non-Christian coworkers and supervisors at the IT consulting company truly understood why I was leaving.

Still, I wanted to open up about why I wrote this book. I feel like the why behind a book is sometimes just as important as the what inside a book. Why did I specifically choose to write Real Recovery? Here are two of the main reasons.
