Christ doesn’t want you to feel stuck in the darkness. He offers light. We can remain in darkness, but if we do that, we remain. We stay stuck.
The Glimmer
Having faith is one of the most difficult things a believer can do, even though it seems like an easy task. After all, it’s simply believing what God says and trusting His plans instead of our own. Even when your agenda seems to make more sense. Even when your plans seem to have more order. Even when your thoughts seem better and “righter” than His.
Confessions of a Seriously Flawed Blogger: My 1-Year Blogiversary
I'm quick to note the sins of society and my friends and my family, but I’m slow to note my own failings. I don’t realize how much I sin in a day, but I do it more times than I can count. I don’t realize how many things I think, say, and do that displease God.
Getting Beyond Rejection
Don’t feel like a failure if someone you care about doesn’t listen to your advice or outwardly show appreciation for your concern. Ugh.” So I made things complicated for myself. I made a deal with God.
Outside of Your Own Little World
Conflict happens. But let’s not start pointless squabbles about things that don’t truly matter. Let’s focus on the fact that we as Christians need to give God glory in everything—even with our opinions.
In the Meantime…Filling up Your Calendar
Recently I posted about how we need to let go of our calendar lives and wait on God’s timing to know what the future holds. However, there are some things you can do while you’re waiting for God to show you what’s next. Here’s a simple list of things a young adult can do to figure out what’s next...
Letting Go of My Calendar Life
I need a list of things in my life that are set in stone. And this dependence is a natural thing, but it’s not a good thing. The calendar is constantly changing. Events get cancelled and added. In life, there are no certainties that I can write down on a planner with a Sharpie. Pencils were created for a reason.
