You Don’t Have To Be Superman To Be Courageous

Courage is more common than we think. Every single day, we are faced with opportunities to be strong and courageous…or to fearfully back down. I often choose to fearfully back down. I could try to complicate the reasons why I do this, or I could admit that I’m simply terrified and unwilling to trust my Savior.

I believe that everything in life—especially the Christian’s life—is a balance. There’s a balance between being unwilling to use our gifts from God and being too willing to use them. You know what I mean by “too willing.” Basically, it means having an egotistical, superior attitude. Which category do you fit into?

If you have a perfect plan in mind, there’s always the risk of it falling apart. Sometimes this happens because our world is fallen, and bad things just happen. But, sometimes, we’re the ones who cause our plans to get ruined…and stay ruined.
