Where God's Word Meets Our Mess
In short, the movie's message is to have faith. Even though we don't always know why we're suffering, we're called to trust God through it. He can perform amazing miracles in our lives. And sometimes, He uses us to strengthen others in their suffering and show them that He's working in their lives.
Focusing on a hymn’s words doesn’t make God love you more. We worship to obey Him because He commands us to do so.
Some people don’t know about the nails in His hands, His crown of thorns, and the empty tomb. We have a message to share! Our God is a great God. We bear His righteousness because of Jesus’ sacrifice. Share it. Spread it. Boast about our God.
The to-do list is never ending. I feel you. There’s always more to do. As soon as you feel satisfied because you finished a big job, you realize there are six more “big jobs” to do. Isn’t every job a big job? Why can’t a task take five minutes instead of five hours? I don’t have the perfect solution to make your life less hectic, but I might have a reason why we’re so busy.

I need a list of things in my life that are set in stone. And this dependence is a natural thing, but it’s not a good thing. The calendar is constantly changing. Events get cancelled and added. In life, there are no certainties that I can write down on a planner with a Sharpie. Pencils were created for a reason.
Your messy room can be cleaned up over time, but it won’t stay clean. It will get dirty. Realize this fact now before you get yourself all in a tizzy. Simply try to be holy. Try to be obedient. You won’t get it right every time.
The attention you get from people on this earth is temporary. Trust me. People's interests (including their interest in you) come and go. They're into something one minute and disinterested the next.
Girls are trying too hard to make their dreams a reality. We try to force what isn’t meant to be. I know that lots of girls have boyfriends in high school. And those girls may look happy and appear satisfied, but you don’t see the tearful, heart-wrenching breakups that wouldn’t have occurred if those girls had been patient.
