I apologize that it’s been a week since I’ve posted. I wanted to make sure I shared something encouraging with you.
It might not have snowed yet wherever you are this winter, but you’ve probably seen snow before. So far this winter, we’ve briefly seen flurries, which is fine with me because I don’t like snow. (You can hate on me later.)
But I do have to admit that the falling snow is beautiful on a sunny day. Freshly fallen snow glows in the sun and sparkles on the trees.
Imagine that beauty times a hundred. That’s how much our hearts glow when Jesus washes them clean.
“…Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall become as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18 NASB)
God gave you a beautiful new heart when you accepted His offer of salvation. He cleansed you from sin. And now you shine like snow.
The next time you see snow, think about that truth.
