The Real Reason I Don’t Like Christmas

I realize that most people hate the Christmas rush, but I think that it can be a great thing. You know—the rush to buy presents for family members and friends, the rush to watch every Christmas movie possible, the rush to decorate with cute Christmas décor, and the rush to make cards and cookies. Let’s just say that the dog days of summer have begun…and it’s only June 11th. I’m definitely happy to be done with school. I’m excited for the sunshine, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying some free time. I’m excited to visit the beach, watch Hallmark movies, and cook homemade meals. But even with all the activities ahead, I know I’ll still experience feelings of boredom.
